 FAIRFAX, Va. On April 23, two officers pulled over 36-year-old Jamal Wali of Fairfax for speeding. When approached Wali said he was armed and began reaching for his weapon numerous times. The officer noticed the vehicle had expired tags, and ordered Wali to surrender his weapon. Wali was an Afghan refugee who had served in the Afghan Military along side United States forces.There was only one person behind the wheel of the car that police stopped for speeding during what began as a routine traffic stop. A third alleged accomplice has been arrested in connection with the escape of 1 of the 10 inmates from the Orleans Parish Correctional Facility, according to Louisiana State Police.
