VIDEO SURFACES SHOWING ORLEANS PRISON PRISON ESCAPEE PROCLAIMING INNOCENCE, ALSO SAYS HE WAS LET OUT, FEDS INVESTIGATING
BREAKING: ESCAPED NEW ORLEANS INMATE PLEADS FOR HELP FROM TRUMP, CALLS OUT LOUISIANA CORRUPTION
In a new video circulating online, escaped New Orleans inmate Antoine Massey is seen pleading directly to President Donald Trump and rapper Lil Wayne for help, decrying deep corruption in Louisiana’s justice system and calling for a federal investigation while on the run as a fugitive, you can’t make this up.
Massey, who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center on May 16 along with nine other inmates, appears in videos uploaded to the account “@_007chucky.”
The videos, widely circulated on social media, show Massey speaking directly to the camera, pleading his case and denying allegations related to his arrest and escape.
In one of the videos under review, Massey says, “I’m one of the ones that was let out of Orleans Parish jail where they said I escaped, right?”
Massey, who remains on the run after breaking out of the Orleans Parish jail on May 16, used his moment on camera to issue a desperate call for for what he seems to feel is accountability.
In the video, Massey denies claims that he threatened a jail maintenance worker to help facilitate the escape. Authorities had previously alleged that Massey threatened to “shank” Sterling Williams unless he shut off the water supply to a cell — a move that reportedly allowed inmates to remove a toilet and slip through a wall to escape.
“All type of stuff going on and they covering it up,” Massey said in the video. “Don’t care about nothing in the state of Louisiana. This is something that needs to go under a federal investigation.”
Massey, who clearly fears what might happen once he’s caught, emphasized that his plea is not about evading justice — but about exposing it.
“I’m asking, please, for help … I’m saying people that been through the system that know it’s corrupt. Lil Wayne, Donald Trump, please, I’m asking for help. You know what I’m saying?”
Massey added, “When I get back in custody, I’m asking y’all please to come help, you feel what I’m saying? I’m asking the world.”
Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson — the official in charge of the very jail Antoine Massey escaped from — has responded to the video with a boilerplate statement urging him to turn himself in.
“If the individual depicted in the video is indeed Antoine Massey, we strongly urge him to come forward and turn himself in to the proper authorities,” Hutson said. “Cooperating with law enforcement is in his best interest and may help avoid additional charges. It is important that justice is served appropriately and that due process is followed.”
That’s rich — coming from the same leadership running a jail where inmates are sawing through walls and blowing the whistle on alleged cover-ups-if they are in fact true. Maybe instead of press releases, it’s time for Sheriff Hutson to explain how this entire situation unfolded under her watch.
Will be interesting to see how much longer this Thug can remain on the run and how it plays out.
